Inboard view drawing of Mikasa (2)

I checked photographs of the drawing displayed at Museum Mikasa again.
Fune no kagaku kan (Museum of Maritime Science) and MES Tokki Co., Ltd. have furnished the drawing.
MES Tokki is a subsidiary company of MES(Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.).

As you know, JACAR has put several other drawings of Mikasa on view via web.

Ref#  C04015499100 contains plan of middle deck of Mikasa.

This drawing was made about 1926 for preservation of Mikasa, but perhaps it was copied from drawing at completion of Mikasa.

Original drawings (main deck & middle deck) can be viewed at NIDS "The National Institute for Defense Studies".

Now, could you please tell me if inboard view drawings of Mikasa from a period up to September 1905 do exist?

Does "inboard view drawing" mean drawing like below?

This drawing was reproduced from 「日本海軍艦艇図面集（昭和造船史別冊）」: "PLANS OF SHIPS OF THE IMPERIAL JAPANESE NAVY - HISTORY OF SHIPBUILDING IN SHOWA ERA"(published in 1975).  Probably it is only one of commerce in fine size in Japan. Unfortunately, the original drawing is not clear.

The parts of drawings are also printed in "BATTLESHIP MIKASA" (booklet by Fune no kagaku kan (Museum of Maritime Science )).

Moreover, the copy of (4) seems to be displayed in Museum Mikasa at Yokosuka.

Yamato Museum (Kure Maritime Museum) has another drawing of Mikasa;

 " GENERAL ARRANGEMENT - PLATFORM DECK -"

All these drawing seem to be made up to 1904 ( or completion of Mikasa, maybe) .

About the drawing of wheel house and chart house

Hello Mr. DariusP,

It was made to consider how to exhibit parts of Mikasa.

In 1922,  when the preservation of Mikasa was discussed, various proposals were made.

The drawing below was of one of proposals to preserve only some parts of Mikasa, not whole of the ship.

Therefore, the platform was fitted with ladders for visitors.

Mikasa's armament at Tsushima (for IJN Mikasa (Tsushima 1905) fans)

I am happy to know that foreign people who are interested in Mikasa exist.
Although my writing speed is very slow, I will provide information about Mikasa as far as I know.

I consider that Mikasa's armament at Tshushima (1905) was below.

*1 "Masuji Yamanouch" (Imperial Japanese Navy officer (1860-1919)) who improved existing (maybe "Hotchikiss") quick firing gun.

According to the log of Mikasa, on 29th(and 30th), Dec. 1904, eight 47mm Yamanouchi heavy quick firing guns on the fighting tops were removed and relocated to the shelter decks or the boat decks.  Previous to this relocation, four 47mm Yamanouchi light guns on the boat decks were relocated to the bridge decks.

(a), (b) Fighting tops were removed after the battle of Yellow Sea (1904).

(c), (d) Officer's conning(?) towers were fitted with on four casemates on upper deck January, 1905.

Mikasa's armament was : 4 x 12 inch guns,  14 x 6 inch guns,  20 x 12 pdr (3 inch) guns,  8 x  3pdr (47 mm) guns,  4 x 2.5pdr (47 mm) guns and 4 x 18 inch submerged torpedo tubes.

Note: One Japanese claims that two 2.5pdr (47 mm) guns relocated in front of  wheel house on aft bridge deck at first, and then, they were relocated to the wings up to Tsushima. 
Probably it comes from the report which Mikasa's captain had submitted after the battle of Yellow Sea. But the report was merely his wish, and there is no reliable evidence to decide the matter.

Large Model of HIJMS Mikasa

This model is exhibited in Museum Mikasa , Yokosuka.
Uraga Dock and Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industry gifted Museum Mikasa with the model in 27th, May, 1961.
The appearance of the model is not of 1905, but its structures are most like as real Mikasa among her models exhibited.
